The MSc ASTE offers the following compulsory courses during the first two semesters:
ASTE01: Geotechnical seismic engineering and natural hazards. ASTE02: Analysis of structures under dynamic loads. ASTE03: Simulation and analysis of structures according to modern regulations. ASTE04: Experimental seismic engineering. ASTE05: Seismic design of load-bearing masonry structures. ASTE06: Seismic design and evaluation of concrete buildings and bridges. ASTE07: Design of geotechnical structures against earthquake and other natural hazards. ASTE08: Earthquake damage, repair and strengthening of buildings. ASTE09: Risk assessment of civil engineering works against natural hazards. ASTE10: Seismic design of tall buildings and special steel structures.
In the third semester, students are required to prepare their postgraduate thesis.
The MSc ASTE offers a total of 90 ECTS.
